Double-click EPSON Perfection 1240U. A dialog box similar

to the one shown below appears.

3. Click the appropriate View button to open t he guide of y our

choice.

To install the Online Reference Guide on y ou r h ar d di sk , c l ic k Inst all

Reference Guide and follow the on-screen instructions. When

the installation is complete, the Reference Guide icon appears in

the EPSON folder (for Windows users) or in the EPSON

Perfection 1240U folder (for Macintosh users). Double-click the

icon to open the guide.

Note:

If your hard disk does not have enough space for installing the Reference

Guide, view it directly from the CD.
