
3.2.10.3 Removingthe Right Frame Assembly
1. Remove the rear/frontedge guide assembly,front cover, papereject assembly, rear/front tractor
unit, and printer cover (see Section 3.2.1).
2. Remove the panelboard (see Section 3.2.2)and upper housingassemblies (see Section 3.2.7).
3 Remove theprinter mechanism (see Section 3.2.10), CR motorassembly (see Section 3.2.9),PF
motor, (seeSection 3.2.10.1) and PG sensorassembly (see Section 3.2.10.2 ).
4. Remove the hexagonnut (standard, M4) securing the gapadjust lever. Then, removethe gap
adjust lever from the right frameassembly.
5. Remove 2 CBS screws (3×6, F/Zn) securing the platen cover.
6. Remove 3 CBS screws (3×6, F/Zn) securing the right frameassembly atthe positions illustrated.
7. Remove the right frame assembly.
Adjust the platen gap and bidirectional print alignment. Refer to Chapter 4.

1. Remove 1 CBS screw(3 ×6, F/Zn ) and 1CBS screw (3×8, F/Zn) securing the right sub frame.
