3. Follow the messages on your screen.
For Macintosh users
1. Make sure that the printer is on, and the Bblack and Acolor
ink out lights are off.
2. Click the Utility icon button in the Print or Page S etup
dialog box, then click the Head Cleaning button.
3. Follow the on-screen messages.
Using the control panel buttons
1. Make sure that the Ppower light is on and that both the
Bblack and Acolor ink out lights are off.
Note:
If the Bblack or Acolor ink out l ight is flashing or on, you cannot
clean the head, and this operation will start the ink cartridge
replacement procedure. If you do not want to replace an ink cartridge
at this moment, press the Rcleaning button to return the print
head to its home position.
2. Hold down the Rcleaning button for three seconds.
