Calibration
To use Easy Interactive Function, you need to make sure you perform
calibration to align the pen position on the screen and the mouse position
on the projection screen with the Easy Interactive Pen.
There are two calibration modes: Calibrate (Normal) and Calibrate
(Advanced).
Specify 25 points with the Calibrate (Normal), and 49 points with the
Calibrate (Advanced).
Make sure you perform calibration the first time you use Easy Interactive
Function. After that, you only need to perform calibration if the usage
environment changes, for example if the connected computer is changed or
the projection area is changed.
Cases in which calibration is required
In the following cases, the positioning of th e Easy Interactive Pen on the
projection surface and the mouse on the computer may be offset. When
position offset becomes a problem, perform calibration again.
•When the computer's resolution is changed.
•When a computer with a resolution that differs from the last time
calibration was performed is connected.
•When Keystone is performed from the Settings Menu in the
Configuration Menu.
•When Zoom is changed from the Settings Menu in the Configuration
Menu.
•When Auto Setup is performed from the Signal menu in the
Configuration Menu.
•When Resolution is changed from the Signal menu in the Configuration
Menu.
•When Tracking is changed from the Signal menu in the Configuration
Menu.
•When Sync. is changed from the Signal menu in the Configuration
Menu.
•When Position is changed from the Signal menu in the Configuration
Menu.
•When Aspect is changed from the Signal menu in the Configuration
Menu.
•When input detection is performed automatically.
•When position offset becomes a problem for other reasons.

•If you set Projection to Rear/Ceiling from the Extended menu in the
Configuration Menu, Easy Interactive Function cannot be used
because the pen position and mouse position will not match.
•The pen position and mouse position will not match while E-Zoom
is being used.
•When you use Easy Interactive Function while images are projected
with EasyMP Network Projection (input source: LAN), set USB
Type B to Wireless Mouse or Off from the Extended menu in the
Configuration Menu.
Replacing the Batteries for the Easy Interactive PenWhen the button is pressed, the indicator for the Easy Interactive Pen turns
on. If it does not turn on, the batteries are out of power and need to be
replaced. Have two AAA size alkaline batteries ready. For details on other
batteries that can be used, contact your local dealer or the nearest address
provided in the Support and Service Guide.
