3Assembling the Printer
Before assembling the printer, make sure tha t all protective
materials packed around and inside your printer are removed.
Follow the instructions in the Unpacking Guide to remove these
materials.
Installing the Expansion Tray
The expansion tray is used for the wide-size paper setting. To
install the expansion tray on the right sid e of the printer, follow
the procedure below.
1. Hold the expansion tray vertically. Then insert its r ight leg
into the hollow of the MP tray to fit the pin on the leg into the
hole on the MP tray. Make sure that the gears of both trays fit
properly.
