2.Verwijder de rol van het opgebruikte rolpapier en plaats het nieuwe rolpapier. Zie afbeelding F.

3.De juiste papierrichting staat afgebeeld in afb. G.

4.Trek het papier een stuk uit (zie afb. H). Sluit het deksel en scheur het papier af (zie afb. I).

Probleemoplossing

Lichtjes op het bedieningspaneel branden niet

Inspecteer de aansluiting van de voedingskabels en het stopcontact.

ERROR-LED brandt (knippert niet) en er wordt niets afgedrukt

Als PAPER OUT brandt, is het rolpapier niet geïnstalleerd of is het bijna op. Als PAPER OUT niet brandt, is het printerdeksel niet goed gesloten.

Het drukken stopt als de kop oververhit raakt en wordt automatisch hervat nadat de kop is afgekoeld.

Zet de printer uit, wacht tien seconden en zet hem vervolgens weer aan als oververhitting niet de oorzaak is.

Verwijderen van vastgelopen papier

LET OP:

Raak de thermische kop niet aan, aangezien hij na het afdrukken zeer heet kan zijn.

1.Zet de printer uit en druk op de knop voor het openen van het printerdeksel.

2.Verwijder het vastgelopen papier, installeer de rol weer en sluit het deksel.

3.Als het papier is vastgelopen in de papiersnijder en u het printerdeksel niet kunt openen, opent u het deksel van de papiersnijder (zie afb. J).

4.Draai aan de knop totdat u een driehoekje ziet in de opening. Hierdoor wordt het snijmes teruggezet naar de normale positie. Naast de papiersnijder ziet u een etiket met aanwijzingen. Zie afbeelding K.

5.Sluit het deksel van de papiersnijder.

6.Open het printerdeksel en verwijder het vastgelopen papier.

Reinigen van de thermische kop

LET OP:

Na het afdrukken kan de thermische kop zeer heet zijn. Raak hem niet aan en wacht totdat hij is afgekoeld voordat u hem schoonmaakt. Beschadig de thermische kop niet door hem met uw vingers of harde voorwerpen aan te raken.

Zet de printer uit, open het printerdeksel en maak het verwarmingselement van de thermische kop schoon met een wattenstaafje dat in een alcoholoplosmiddel is gedrenkt (ethanol, methanol of isopropanol).

Epson beveelt aan de thermische kop regelmatig (gewoonlijk om de drie maanden) te reinigen om een goede afdrukkwaliteit te behouden.
