When connected to a switchboard, all phone

same first part. This common part is the PBX

 

 

prefix (for examples, see below).

Extension number Unique part of the phone number, distinguishing the phone number from other phone numbers.

Note When making the own line settings you also need to fill in the external line prefix (Ext. line). This prefix (for example: 0) may be required before you can make an external call. This external line prefix is not part of the phone number.
