RESERVOIR

7)Fill reservoir with mixture of one teaspoon chlorine bleach in one gallon water. Let solution stay 20 minutes, swishing every few minutes. Wet all surfaces.

8)Empty reservoir after 20 minutes. Rinse with water until bleach smell is gone. Dry with clean cloth or paper towel.

9)Replace wick in cabinet by sliding the wick into position between locating ribs in sides of cabinet.

10)Replace motor and fan assembly ensuring that it seats correctly on the front and back edge of the cabinet and that the cord is not caught on the edge of the unit.

11)Plug cord into wall outlet. Turn unit on.

EVAPORATIVE WICK

12)We recommend replacing the wick at least once a season more often in hard water areas. When it appears excessively clogged with mineral deposits, discard it and restore your humidifier's efficiency with a new wick. Bemis by Essick Air evaporative wick number 1044 fits the 900 Series tabletop humidifiers. For replacement wicks call 800-547-3888. Only Bemis by Essick Air evaporative wicks guarantee the out-put of your humidifier. Use of wicks other than Bemis by Essick Air will void your warranty and may reduce the efficiency and output of your humidifier.

Summer Storage

1)Clean unit as outlined in Care & Maintenance section.

2)Discard used wick. (install a new Bemis by Essick Air wick at the beginning of the next sea- son. Only Bemis by Essick Air wicks guarantee the output of your humidifier.)

3)Allow unit to dry thoroughly before storage. Do not store with water inside unit.

4)Do not store unit in attic or other high-temperature area.

5)Clean humidifier and install new wick before next season begins.
