SETTING UP YOUR SYSTEM continued

Plug the AC adapter into the mains and then into the radio’s AC 14VAC socket.

PREPARING THE REMOTE FOR USE

The remote uses a CR/DL2025 battery. Insert it into the battery holder with the writing facing opposite to the writing on the remote. Replace the battery when it no longer works. Pull out the plastic tab to activate the remote.

TURNING THE RADIO ON

Press the STANDBY button on the radio or on the remote.

SELECTING PLAY MODES

Press the MODE button on the radio or the remote to select UDISK, SD/MMC, AUX or TUNER.

ADJUSTING VOLUME

Use the VOL buttons on the remote or the volume knob on the unit.

PLAYING AM OR FM

Use the MODE button to select TUNER, then select AM/FM with the remote’s AM/FM button or the BAND button or the BAND button

on the unit. Tune using the tuning buttons on the radio or the remote. A quick, short press tunes individual frequencies; a longer press of 1 second engages auto tuning, which tunes only to stations of strong signal strength.
