Camera Setting DIP Switch

Fluorescent ON/OFF

This is a compensation function for against the images flicker fiercely during fluorescent light condition. Shooting the images in fluorescent light by using turn on the Fluorescent function, the default setting is Off.

BLC (Back Light Compensation) ON/OFF

When BLC is turned on, the AGC, ES and IRIS operating point is determined by averaging over the center area instead of entire field-of-view, so that a dimly-lit foreground object at center area can be clearly distinguished from brightly-lit backgrounds.

BLC should not be used unless it is needed to compensate for back-lit. The default setting is OFF.

ES (Electronic Shutter) OFF/ON

ES ON: The camera continuously adjusts the shutter speed from 1/60 (NTSC), 1/50 (PAL) second to 1/100,000 second according to the luminance conditions of the scene.

ES OFF: The shutter speed is fixed at 1/60 (NTSC), 1/50 (PAL) second.

Set ES OFF, when auto iris lens is used or flicker is observed under a very bright fluorescent lamp. Otherwise, turn ES on for optimum performance. The default setting is ON.

AGC (Automatic Gain Control) OFF/ON

AGC ON: The sensitivity increases automatically when light is low.

AGC OFF: A-low-noise picture is obtained under a low light condition.

The default setting is ON.

LL (Line-Lock) OFF/ON

To select the sync mode between Internal Sync.(LL off) and Line-Lock (LL on).

Set the line-lock off, the camera will synchronize to the internal time base. Set the line-lock on, the camera’s vertical synchronization can be driven by the AC signal in the power lines.

Note: The cameras feature AC line lock for external synchronization, using the AC power

EQ350, Eq250 specifications

EverFocus, a notable name in the surveillance and security industry, has made strides with its innovative camera models, the EQ350 and EQ250. Both devices cater to the growing need for reliable and high-quality video surveillance solutions, offering various features and technologies that enhance security monitoring.

The EverFocus EQ350 is designed for versatile environments, making it an ideal choice for commercial and industrial applications. It boasts impressive 1080p Full HD resolution, ensuring that every detail is captured with clarity. The camera is equipped with advanced image sensor technology, which significantly improves low-light performance, allowing for effective monitoring even in challenging lighting conditions.

One of the standout features of the EQ350 is its wide dynamic range (WDR) capability. This technology enables the camera to balance the light and dark areas in a scene, providing clear images regardless of contrasting lighting conditions. Additionally, the EQ350 supports H.265 compression technology, which optimizes video data management. This technology reduces file sizes without sacrificing quality, allowing for more efficient storage and bandwidth usage.

On the other hand, the EverFocus EQ250 is engineered for users seeking a more budget-friendly yet robust surveillance solution. It provides 1080p Full HD video quality similar to its counterpart but includes essential features that ensure its effectiveness in various environments. The EQ250 is equipped with IR night vision capability, allowing it to capture clear video footage in complete darkness, a critical aspect for nighttime surveillance.

Both the EQ350 and EQ250 support PoE (Power over Ethernet), simplifying installation by allowing data and power to be transmitted through a single cable. This is particularly beneficial in minimizing wiring costs and complexity during setup. Furthermore, they are designed with a rugged housing that withstands various environmental conditions, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

In summary, the EverFocus EQ350 and EQ250 offer a range of features focused on enhancing security operations. With advanced imaging technology, efficient video compression, and robust build quality, these cameras provide reliable surveillance solutions for a variety of applications. Whether catering to high-demand environments or budget-conscious users, EverFocus delivers products that meet the needs of modern surveillance challenges.
