WHY SOFTEN YOUR WATER?

Quality water is vital to your operation.

There are contaminants in nearly all water that over time affect the efficiency of your plumbing and your water-using equipment. Water is a natural solvent, and as it passes through soil and limestone it picks up minerals. These minerals make water hard, and hard water can wreak havoc on water heaters, pipes, faucets, toilets, laundry, dishwashers, coffee brewers and other equipment that use water. Common culprits for causing hard water are calcium and magnesium.

Calcium and magnesium, when evaporated from water or combined with heat, can form hard, chalky deposits known as limescale. These deposits can clog pipes, reducing flow, and coat heating elements, requiring more energy to heat water.Your operation loses efficiency, and your maintenance and energy costs rise.

The Ion Exchange Process

Water softeners can remove dissolved calcium and magnesium through a process known as ion exchange. Systems consist of

two tanks: a resin tank and a brine tank. The resin tank contains a bed of negatively charged cation resin (small plastic beads), that

are coated with sodium ions (Na+).As hard water passes through this bed, the positively charged calcium (Ca++) and magnesium

(Mg++) ions exchange with sodium ions and are captured by the beads,

IRON

causing the sodium to release into the water. Since the sodium in the

Everpure Water Softening manual WHY Choose AN Everpure Commercial SOFTENER?, Quality water is vital to your operation

Water Softening specifications

Everpure Water Softening systems are renowned for their advanced technology and effectiveness in improving water quality. These systems utilize a combination of sophisticated filtration methods and salt-free technology to reduce hardness minerals, primarily calcium and magnesium, which are responsible for scale buildup in plumbing and appliances.

One of the standout features of Everpure water softeners is their proprietary 3-stage filtration process. This multi-stage approach not only softens water but also enhances its overall quality. The first stage typically involves a sediment filter that removes particulate matter, followed by a carbon block filter designed to reduce chlorine, tastes, and odors. The final stage usually incorporates a softening media that addresses hardness while maintaining beneficial minerals in the water.

A key technology used in Everpure systems is their innovative ion exchange process. Unlike traditional salt-based softeners, Everpure employs a salt-free alternative that utilizes a specialized resin to bind calcium and magnesium ions. This method effectively transforms hard water into soft water without the negative environmental impact associated with salt discharge. Furthermore, the salt-free approach helps to preserve essential minerals, leaving the water healthier and better tasting.

Everpure systems are also designed with efficiency and convenience in mind. Many models feature an integrated automatic regeneration process that minimizes downtime while ensuring a consistent supply of softened water. Moreover, the systems are engineered for low maintenance, with filter replacement occurring less frequently than traditional units.

Another essential characteristic of Everpure water softeners is their compact design. These systems are often installed under sinks or in closets, making them ideal for homes with limited space. The aesthetic design also complements modern kitchens, allowing homeowners to enjoy soft water without compromising on style.

User-friendly digital interfaces and monitoring systems are other significant features of Everpure products. These interfaces help consumers track water usage and filter life, ensuring optimal performance and timely replacements.

In summary, Everpure Water Softening systems combine advanced filtration technologies, ecological benefits, and user-oriented designs to deliver superior water quality. They provide an effective solution for tackling hard water issues, ensuring households enjoy soft, great-tasting water while protecting their plumbing and appliances from the damaging effects of scaling.
