cChapter 1: Install Global Configurator

  • Download from www.extron.com, or

• Install from Extron Software Products CD

cChapter 2: Make the MLC cable connections.

2.c Local Area Network (LAN) – IP models only

3.c Devices

cChapter 3: Configure MLC 104 Plus Series using Global

Configurator.

1.c Download device drivers.

2.c Create a new Global Configurator project file.

3.c Add a device and (for IP models) set its IP address.

4c Define the location of the new device.

5.c Save the new Global Configurator file.

6.c Configure e-mail server. (IP models only)

7.c Configure e-mail messages. (IP models only)

8.c Configure contacts. (IP models only)

9.c Assign serial device drivers.

10.c Assign IR drivers.

11.c Configure the front panel.

12.c Configure associated control modules.

13.c Create a shutdown schedule.

14.c Create a lamp hour notification. (IP models only)

15.c Create a disconnect notice. (IP models only)

16.c Build the Global Configurator file.

17.c Upload the Global Configurator file.

18.c Launch GlobalViewer. (IP models only)

19.c Test the MLC’s setup.
