You can remove and clean these parts with hot soapy water or other appropriate products - see ‘Cleaning chart’.

After cleaning, check that the burners and their flame spreaders are dry before replacing correctly.

It is very important to check that the burner flame spreader and the cap have been correctly positioned. Failure to do so can cause serious problems.

Note: to avoid damage to the electronic ignition, do not try to light a burner without all burner parts correctly in place.

Replacing the burners

It is very important to check that the burner flame spreader and the cap have been correctly positioned (see Fig. 19). Failure to do so can cause serious problems.

Check that the ignitor (Figs. 19 and 20) is always clean to ensure trouble-free sparking.

In the models with the flame failure safety device, check that the probe (Figs. 19a and 20) next to each burner is always clean to ensure correct operation of the safety valves.

Both the ignitor and probe must be very carefully cleaned using a toothbrush and methylated spirits (Fig.16).
