Go to the setup menu if you try to set the language and date again (pg. 71).

Tip: The Camera Clock

If the battery is removed for an extended period, the camera clock will be reset when the camera is turned on. If the battery is left in the camera for about two hours, the battery can be removed for about 24 hours without resetting the clock.
