Aspect Ratio

Pictures taken at an image quality setting of g3 : 2

have an aspect ratio of 3 : 2, the same as a frame of 35-mm film. Pictures taken at other settings have an aspect ratio of 4 : 3.

Control the camera’s sensitivity to light with M. Higher values can be used to reduce blur when lighting is poor; note, however, that mottling may appear in pictures taken at high sensitivities. If AUTO is selected, the camera will adjust sensitivity automatically in response to shooting conditions.
