Using the Menus: Shooting Mode

Choose the items displayed in the LCD monitor (P6). The following items can be displayed:

Selecting ELECTRONIC LEVEL displays a virtual horizon. The camera is level when the two lines overlap.

The virtual horizon may not be displayed if the camera lens is pointed up or down.

WMOVIE MODE [i]

Choose a frame size for movies (P66).

FAF MODE (Fmode) [u]

This option controls how the camera selects the focus area for movies.

Option	Description
rCENTER	The camera focuses on the subject in
	the center of the frame.
	The camera continuously adjusts fo-
uCONTINUOUS	cus to reflect changes in the distance
	to the subject in the focus frame.

Note that in u mode, the camera focuses continu- ously, increasing the drain on the battery, and that the sound of the camera focusing may be audible.
