I can’t use the flash to take

• Erase some images or use a SmartMedia that
has ample free space.
• Remove the write-protection.
• Format the SmartMedia.
• Wipe the SmartMedia contact area with a

• Set the flash mode to Auto, Red-Eye Reduction,
Forced Flash or Slow Synchro.
• Set continuous shooting to “OFF”.
