SELECTING THE MODE
PHOTOGRAPHY MENU
In this menu, you can select the “{”, “C” or
“F” mode, or the “\” file size/quality setting.

{AUTO

This is the simplest mode to use and has a wide
range of applications. (➡P.20)
✽You can specify the i(➡P.37), P(➡P.38),
and B(➡P.39) settings.

CMANUAL

This mode allows you to take pictures using
combinations of different menu settings.
✽In MANUAL mode, you can select the i
(➡P.37), G(➡P.41), and a(➡P.42) settings.
✽Each time you press the “DISP” button in C
mode, the display mode moves one step in the
cycle from “Text + Video” ➡“Video only” ➡
“Text only”.

FSET-UP

This mode allows you to change the photo-
graphy settings (➡P.59).

\FILE SIZE/QUALITY

This mode allows you to set the “FILE
SIZE/QUALITY” setting (➡P.36).

➀Set the Mode switch to “E”.
➁Press the “MENU/OK” button to display the
menu on the LCD monitor.
➀Use the “d” or “c” button to select the menu
item and then use the “ab” button to change
the setting.
➁Press the “BACK” button to return to the
photography screen.
