This mode can be selected in the “5•4•
3•and 6” photography modes.
In this mode a timer runs for roughly 10 seconds
before the shutter is released. Use this mode for
shots such as photographs of yourself.
Position the AF frame over the subject and press
the shutter button. The camera focuses on the
subject in the frame and self-timer starts to run.

You can also use the AF/AE lock (➡P.31).

Be careful not to stand in front of the camera when
you press the shutter button as this can cause
focusing or light metering errors.

➀Press the “MENU/OK” button to display the
menu.
➁Use “d” and “c” to select the menu item and
“a” and “b” to change the setting.
➂Press the “MENU/OK” button to confirm the
setting.
In “wMANUAL” mode, you need to switch
between menus.
Use the page numbers on the right-hand side of
the LCD monitor to jump to another page.
