Setting the menu (➝p.76)

Erasing the images ( ERASE)

Use this mode to erase unnecessary images to have ample free space on the xD-Picture Card or internal memory. Your camera calls images “frames”.

MEMO

•When using an xD-Picture Card, the images in the xD- Picture Card are erased. When not using an xD- Picture Card, the images in the internal memory are erased.

•Protected frames (files) cannot be erased. Unprotect the frames (files) before erasing them (➝p.83).

•If “DPOF SPECIFIED. ERASE OK?” or “DPOF SPECIFIED. ERASE ALL OK?” appears, press MENU/ OK again to erase the frames (files).

CAUTION

Erased frames (files) cannot be recovered. Back up important frames (files) onto your PC or another media.

MEMO
