The Setup Menu

gPLAYBACK VOLUME Press the selector up or down to choose volume for movie and voice memo playback and press MENU/OK to select.

oAUTO POWER OFF

Choose the length of time before the camera turns off automatically when no operations are performed. Shorter times increase battery life; if OFF is selected, the camera must be turned off manually. Note that regardless of the option selected, the camera will not turn off automatically when connected to a printer (pg.

46)or computer (pg. 51) or when a slide show is in progress (pg. 69).

BTip: Reactivating the Camera

dLCD MODE

Control the quality of the display in the monitor. Choose ifor improved display quality, hfor increased battery life.

To reactivate the camera after it has turned off automatically, use the nbutton or press the D button for about a second (pg. 11).

ANote

Although OFF is selected for oAUTO POWER OFF, the camera will turn off automatically if no operations are performed for five minutes in the following case:

•STANDBY is displayed in A.

•Bis displayed in the shooting mode.

•SRC, V, Y, or Tis selected in the shooting mode.
