Setting the menu (p.101)

CAUTION

If the camera is unable to detect faces in an image, it will not correct the red eye-effect sufficiently, or not at all. Also, the camera cannot correct the red-eye effect if the face is in profile.

Correction results may differ depending on scene.The processing may take more time if there are many faces in the image.

Images photographed with a camera other than FinePix S100FS cannot be red-eye corrected.

The corrected image is added as a separate file in thefinal frame and is indicated in the image.

A red-eye corrected image is shown with a . The image cannot be corrected again.

Red eye effect in images taken with [ CCD-RAW] set to [ON] in the [SET-UP] menu cannot be corrected.

Rotating the images ([ IMAGE ROTATE])

Use this mode to rotate the image.

CAUTION

Protected frames (files) cannot be rotated. Unprotect the frames (files) before rotating them (p.104).

When [ AUTOROTATE PB] in the [SET-UP] menu is set to [OFF], images cannot be rotated.

MEMO

An image can be rotated only when playing back using FinePix S100FS.

You may not be able to rotate images that were shot with a camera other than the FinePix S100FS.
