Use this menu for shots to get the correct brightness (exposure), such as shots with extremely high contrast between the subject and the background.

CAUTION

This function can only be used for N, Mor <in Shooting mode. However, this function can be used, when N, Mor

<is selected in or .

ARotate the command dial to select the compensation value, while pressing D. Release D to set.

BPress the shutter button to take pictures.

CHECK

The symbol indicating the compensation direction (– or +) turns yellow.

The Dicon also turns yellow while exposure compensation is being set and then turns blue after setting is completed.

The screen brightness will increase or decrease depending on the exposure compensation setting.
