Setting the Shooting Mode

You can select the most suitable setting according to the subject by selecting one of the Shooting modes.

[B AUTO]

This is the easiest mode for providing crisp and clear shots.

Use this mode for ordinary photography.

Camera specifies all settings other than p-MODE ([QUALITY] and [FinePix COLOR]) automatically.

Set the Mode dial to B.

Only [AUTO] can be selected for the [ ISO] (sensitivity) setting.

[ NATURAL LIGHT]

This mode produces beautiful images that retain the natural ambience when shots are taken in low-light conditions.

This mode is also ideal for shooting indoor or situations where the flash cannot be used.

Camera sets the high-sensitivity setting when selecting the Natural light mode. This mode is effective for reducing camera shake and moving-subject blurring when taking pictures in low-light conditions.

Set the Mode dial to .

CHECK

Flash cannot be used in the Natural light mode.

Only [AUTO] can be selected for the [ ISO] (sensitivity) setting.
