Setting the Shooting Mode

This is an automatic mode to specify the settings except for the shutter speed and aperture setting.

This is a simple way to take pictures the same as the < Aperture-priority Auto and MShutter-priority Auto modes (Program shift).

Set the Mode dial to N.Shooting functions:[ PHOTOMETRY] (p.80)[T WHITE BALANCE] (p.81)[HFOCUSING] (p.83)[ AF MODE] (p.84)[GSHARPNESS] (p.86)[ FLASH] (p.87)[ BRACKETING] (p.87)

CHECK

APress Dto open the setting screen.

BSelect different shutter speed and aperture setting combinations without changing the exposure setting.

CPress the shutter button to take pictures.

MEMO

Program shift can be used when Suppressed flash (p.65) is set in flash mode.

The shutter speed and aperture setting appear in yellow when the camera is in Program shift mode.

Any of following cancels Program shift:-Changing the Mode dial setting-Setting the camera to Playback mode-Turning the camera off-Popping the flash up
