(7) Load Horizontal Tab Stop Data command
The Load Horizontal Tab Stop Data command loads horizontal tab stop data
into the horizontal control buffer
(HCB).
Example:
9B
35;31
35;32
35;33
35 20 4E

IParameter sequence
Codes used in the parameter sequence are the same as those of the Load FCB
Data command. Code 35 in the parameter sequence above indicates that the
horizontal tab stop is to be set at column 5. Code 31 35 indicates that
the horizontal tab stop is to be set at column 15. Using this parameter,
the horizontal tab stop is set at columns 5, 15, 25, and
135.
If the column for the horizontal tab stop exceeds the
rig'ht
margin, the
printer regards it as an invalid horizontal tabulation
lo,ad
data command
and clears the horizontal control buffer.
(8)
Status Request command
The Status Request command directs the printer to report its status to the
host.
Even if the DTR signal is off, the printer can receive this command
and report printer status.
If the
XON/XOFF,
Reverse Channel line, or DTR line protocol is used and
the host receives code XOFF from the printer, or if the Reverse Channel is
off (for example, the printer interface buffer is almost full) and the
host transmits this command, the interface can be used efficiently.
(9) Status Response
commnd
The Status Response command, in response to the Status Request command
transmitted from the host, reports the printer status in the following
format:
Example:
90 24 31 30; 31 33; 34 30; . . . . . . . . . .
