Alert concerning using scanner
Prohibited | − Do not put a vase, flower pot, cup, or any other vessel containing |
| water on the scanner. |
| Spilled water could result in a fire or electric shock. |
| − Do not put any metal (such as a clip or staple) on the scanner. |
| A metal clip or staple, if dropped into the scanner interior, could |
| cause a short circuit and result in a fire or electric shock. |
| − Do not moisten the scanner. |
| A fire or electric shock could result. |
| − Do not insert or drop a metal or flammable item into the scanner |
| interior via an opening such as the document entry unit. |

Plug | − If a foreign substance (such as a metal, water, or liquid) enters the |
| scanner interior, promptly disconnect the AC adapter from the outlet, |
| then call your sales agency or Fujitsu Limited. |
