2.4 Unit Version Number

If a unit version number should be changed on site, take the following steps:

(1)Revision-number display at shipment

The unit version number of an MO drive is indicated by crossing out unnecessary number with an equal sign (=) in the corresponding alphanumeric character string on the label. (See Figure 2.2.)

(2)Revision number changes in the field

When the revision number is changed following part replacement or other modifications, the applicable level is indicated by the corresponding number enclosed with a circle in the corresponding number string. (See Figure 2.2.)

IMPORTANT

Fujitsu issues a Change Request/Notification regarding post-factory-shipment revision number changes. When the user changes the version number, the revision-number label should be updated as described above after the change is applied.
