Switching on and off with General Reset switch
If your Pocket PC does not continue operating and switching off and on with the Suspend button
and the soft reset fail to function, you can reset your Pocket PC to the delivered stat e.
!If the device is switched off with the General Reset switch, the battery is swit c hed off so
that the RAM contents are lost. This means you loose all data (documents, additionally
installed programs, personal settings) that you haven't saved elsewhere.
Therefore, remember to make a regular data backup with synchronisation (see the
chapter "Synchronising data with ActiveSync") or on corresponding memory cards
(available as an accessory). The LX Backup program is provided on your Pocket LOOX
600 for completely backing up the RAM memory on memory cards (see the chapter
"Backing up data with LX Backup“).

Ê Slide the cover all the way to the right with
the stylus (1) so that the General Reset
switch is accessible.
Ê Press the General Reset switch to the
left (2) with the stylus: your Pocket PC is
switched off.

Ê Slide the General Reset switch after a short
waiting time to the right (2): your Pocket PC
will start up after a few seconds.
Ê Slide the cover closed again (3).

After approximately 10 seconds a picture appears on the display and a tone sounds.
