Setting up the telescopic pipe on the container:

The length of the telescopic pipe | should be set |
in such a way that the pump does not touch the bottom of the container. This prevents dirt in the container reaching the pump.
A rope must be run through the handle of the pump for deeper water containers (max. 1.5 m).

If the battery pump is used in flat containers, e.g. to empty a paddling pool, the telescopic pipe can be removed and replaced by the threaded tap connector supplied. The 13 mm (1/2”),
16 mm (5/8”) or 19 mm (3/4”) hose connection must be set up using Original GARDENA System hose connections.
