3.Hold the guide handle H with one hand and press the start button I.

4.Hold the main handle J with the other hand and press the start button K.

The hedge trimmer will start.

Switching the Hedge Trimmer off:

1.Release the start buttons I / K.

2.Slide the protective cover F over the cutter blade G.

3.Remove the battery from the handle (see 4. Initial Operation).

Disposal of batteries:

The hedge trimmer must be stored out of the reach of children.

1.Remove battery (see 4. Initial Operation).

2.Clean the hedge trimmer (see 7. Maintenance) and slide the protective cover F over the cutter blade G.

3.Store the hedge trimmer in a dry, frost free place.

The product must not be added to normal household waste. It must be disposed of in line with local environmental regulations.

vImportant: Make sure that the unit is disposed of via your municipal recycling collection centre.

The GARDENA Cordless Hedge Trimmer contains lithium-ion batteries that should not be discarded with normal household waste at the end of their life.

Please return the lithium-ion batteries to your GARDENA dealer or dispose of them properly at a public recycling centre.

1.Discharge lithium-ion batteries completely.

2.Dispose of lithium-ion batteries properly.

7. Maintenance

Cleaning the Hedge Trimmer: DANGER ! Risk of physical injury!

	Cutting injuries can be caused if the hedge trimmer
