4Carefully remove the fan from the chassis.

5Disconnect the fan power cable from the connector on the system board.

Note the connector it was attached to.

6Place the new fan bracket unit into the chassis by engaging the two

retaining tabs with the tabs on the back panel of the chassis and the

release tabs with the slots in the back panel.

7Connect the fan power cable to the appropriate connector on the system

board.

8Close the case. (See “Closing the case” on page27.)

9Reconnect the power cord and external peripherals, then turn on the

system.
