Adding and removing PC Cards
Your computer has one PCCard slot (also kn own as a PCMCIA card slot). This
slot accepts Type I and Type II PCCards.
You do not need to restart your computer when changing most cards because
your computer supports hot-swapping. Hot-swapping means that you can insert
a PC Card while your computer is running. If the PCCard does not work after
hot-swapping, see the PCCard manufacturer’s documentation for further
information.

Adding a PC Card

To insert a PCCard:

â– Push the card firmly into the PCCard slot with the label side facing the
front until the outer edge of the card is flush with the side of your
computer.
