POSSIBLE CAUSE
●Pilots are not lit. Make sure electrical plug is plugged into a live power outlet.
●Burner holes on the side or around the top of burner may be clogged.
Remove burners and clean them with a small sewing needle or small safety pin. Make sure you do not enlarge the holes.
●Burners may not be fitted correctly onto the mounting brackets. Remove and
reinstall them properly.

●If burner flames look like (A), call for service. Normal burner flames should look like (B) or (C), depending on the type of gas you use.
●With LP gas, some yellow tipping on inner cones is normal.
●If range is connected to LP gas, check all steps in the Installation Instructions.
●Oven controls not properly set. See the Broiling section.
●Door not closed.
●Improper shelf position being used. See the Broiling section.
●Food is being cooked on a hot pan.
●Cookware is not suited for broiling.
●Aluminum foil used on the broiler pan rack has not been fitted properly
and slit as recommended.
●Oven bottom not securely seated in position.
●Oven control not properly set. See the Baking or Roasting section.
●Shelf position is not correct.
●Incorrect cookware or cookware of improper size is being used.
●Oven thermostat needs adjustment. See the Adjust the Oven Thermostat— Do It Yourse~section.
●Clock not set correctly.
●Aluminum foil used improperly in the oven.
●Oven bottom not securely seated in position.
c Range electrical plug must be securely seated in a live power outlet. Check for blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker.
●Oven thermostat needs adjustment. See the Adjust the Oven Thermostat—
Do It Your.\elt section.
●Bulb may be loose or burned out.
●Electrical plug must be plugged into a live power outlet.
●Switch operating oven light is broken. Call for service.
. An odor from the insulation around the inside of the oven is normal for the first few times oven is used. This is tem~orary.

●Improper air/gas ratio in oven. Cal I for service.
●This is normal in a new oven and will disappear in time.
