Auto shut-off function

If the iron is not moved for a certain period of time, it will shut off automatically:

After shut off, the iron will stop heating up and the operation indicator (11) will flash.

Tilt the iron down and back to restart the iron.

The iron will begin to heat up to the previous setting.

NOTE: To shut off the iron completely, set the temperature control (5) to off and disconnect from the wall outlet.

Turning the iron off and emptying the water reservoir

After use, set the temperature control (5) to off (ill. k ).

Make sure to slide the function control (4) to the dry ironing position (ill. g ).

Disconnect the iron from the wall outlet and let it cool completely.

Place the iron on its heel (10) on a flat, dry and level surface (ill. d ). Press the fill inlet cover (2) to open (ill. a ).

• Hold the iron upside down over a sink to empty the water reservoir (12) (ill. l ).

Store the iron on its heel (10) in a safe place (ill. d ).

CAUTION! During the cooling process, do not touch the soleplate (15) to feel the temperature (ill. e ). Danger of burns!
