Try a vinegar rinse. Remove allmetalutensilsandwashloadasusualbut

Caused by using too much detergent in soft water. This milky film- Iike surface cannot be removed because metal ions have been removed from the surface of the glass. To prevent this problem, use less deter- gent when your water supply is naturally soft or when you use a water

softener. Also, wash glassware in shortest cycle that wiUget them clean,

Tea or coffee stains in cups can be removed by hand using a solution of 1/2 cup bleach and 3 cups of warmwater.

An over-all yellow or brown film on dishes can be caused by iron deposits in water, Glassware becomes yellow or brown but is still transparent. The installation of an iron filter in the water supply line removes the cause of this problem and is the only permanent solution. For more complete information, contact your local water conditioning company.

Yellow film on sterling silver can result when copper utensils are washed in the same load.
