CAMERA/VCR Switch
6.Place CAMERA/VCR switch in
CAMERA AUTO.
The position of the CAMERA/VCR switch tells the camcorder whether you want to record (CAMERA) or play back tapes (VCR).
•Place the switch in CAMERA AUTO to have the camcorder automatically control white balance, focus, and shutter speed.
•Place the switch in CAMERA MAN (manual) to manually control white balance, focus and shutter speed.
•Place the switch in VCR to play back tapes.
7.Slide POWER switch to turn on the camcorder. The POWER indicator lights.
If you do not record within five minutes, the camcorder will
automatically shut off to prevent excessive tape wear. To turn the camcorder on again, slide the POWER switch.
CAUTION: Avoid operating your camcorder immediately after moving it from a cold location to a warm location. Give the camcorder
