CAUTION: Do not warm food on the WARMER for more than two hours.

Do not use plastic wrap to cover food. Plastic may melt onto the surface and be very difficult to remove.

Placing uncooked or cold food on surface warmer could result in foodborne illness.

For best results, all food on the WARMER should be covered with a lid or aluminum foil. When warming pastries or breads, the cover should be vented to allow moisture to escape.

Always use potholders or oven mitts when removing food from the WARMER as cookware and plates will be hot.

JP950, JP980 specifications

The GE JP980 and JP950 are two prominent models in General Electric's line of advanced cooking appliances, specifically designed to meet the demands of modern kitchens. These built-in wall ovens are renowned for their combination of cutting-edge technology and user-friendly features that enhance cooking experiences.

One of the standout features of both the GE JP980 and JP950 is their advanced convection cooking system. This technology utilizes a fan to circulate hot air evenly throughout the oven cavity, ensuring that food cooks uniformly and efficiently. This results in perfectly baked goods and evenly roasted meats, allowing home cooks to achieve professional-grade results.

Another notable feature is the inclusion of smart technology. Both models support Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing users to control their oven remotely through a smartphone app. This capability lets cooks preheat their ovens, monitor cooking progress, and receive notifications when meals are ready, all from their mobile devices. This integration of technology into kitchen appliances exemplifies the evolving nature of cooking, where convenience and connectivity play crucial roles.

The JP980 and JP950 also boast self-cleaning options. This feature is especially appealing to busy home chefs who may not have the time for manual cleaning. The self-cleaning function uses high temperatures to burn away food residues, turning them into ash that can be easily wiped away, saving time and effort.

In terms of design characteristics, both models feature a sleek stainless steel finish that complements a variety of kitchen aesthetics. Their spacious interiors accommodate large dishes, making them ideal for family gatherings or entertaining guests. The ovens come with multiple cooking modes, including baking, broiling, and roasting, as well as specific settings for making pizza or proofing dough. This versatility allows users to experiment with different cooking techniques and recipes.

Moreover, safety features, such as oven locks and temperature limiters, are implemented in both the JP980 and JP950, ensuring that they provide a safe cooking environment, especially in homes with children.

In conclusion, the GE JP980 and JP950 combine innovative cooking technology with stylish design, offering functionality and versatility. With features like advanced convection cooking, smart technology integration, and self-cleaning capabilities, these ovens cater to the needs of modern chefs and families alike, making them valuable additions to any contemporary kitchen.
