The Exhaust Feature

The exhaust hood feature on your
microwave oven is equipped with
two metal filters which collect
grease. When the fan is operated,
air is drawn up through the filters
and is then discharged through the
provided venting to the outside.
The hood also has a light for
illuminating the counter space.
To remove grease filter,
grasp the
“finger hold” on the filter and
slide to the rear.
Then
pull
filter downward and to
the
fr~nt.
The filter will drop out.
To clean grease filter, soak,
then
agitate filter in solution of hot
water and detergent. Don’t use
ammonia or other alkali because
they will darken metal. Light
brushing can be used to remove
embedded dirt. Rinse, shake and
remove moisture before replacing.
