• The blower motor wire harness was not connected or was not

Switch power off at service panel and lock the service

If no, check the circuit breaker/fuse. If it is blown/tripped,

 

 

 

 

replace/reset it. Does the blower work now? If no, call GE for

THE BLOWER FAILS

• Many factors could be the root cause for reduced air-flow.

removed from the damper blades and that it swings open freely.

 

 

 

4.

Damper blade on Wall or Roof Cap may not be opening. Contact

 

 

 

 

your builder so they can make sure the damper swings open freely.

 

 

 

5.

Dirty filters/baffles - Make sure filters (and all hood surfaces) are

 

 

 

 

kept clean of grease and dirt.

 

 

 

6.

Check to be sure the filter is clean: If replacing the filter does not
