| BURNER WON’T | • Remove the burner grate. With the control knob in the OFF position, |
| ||
| LIGHT WHEN THE | watch the electrode while turning the igniter knob. You should see |
| ||
| PUSH BUTTON | a spark jump inside the electrode cap. |
| ||
| IGNITER KNOB | • Use a match to light the burner. |
| ||
| IS TURNED |
| |||
| • Visually check the electrode and wire while turning the igniter knob. |
| |||
|
|
| |||
|
| The only place a spark should appear is at the electrode tip. If the |
| ||
|
| electrode or wire leaks voltage, remove and replace. |
| ||
|
| • Purge the gas line of any air. |
| ||
|
| • Check the orifice for blockage. |
| ||
|
| • Inspect the igniter tip to make sure it is clean and free from debris. |
| ||
|
| Clean the area. Readjust for 1/8″ gap. |
| ||
|
|
|
|
| |
| BURNER FLAME IS | • Check the burner inlet for obstructions. |
| ||
| YELLOW OR ORANGE | • Check the air shutter for proper adjustment. |
| ||
| IN CONJUNCTION | • Do not place the range top burners in a dusty area. |
| ||
| WITH THE ODOR |

| LOW HEAT WITH | • Inspect the fuel hose to ensure it is not bent or kinked. |
