Tiller Adjustment
The tiller adjustment, sometimes known as the handlebar adjustment, allows you to alter the angle of the tiller to suit your driving style or to fold the tiller down for transporting.
Hold tiller
Release knob
Fully folded for transportation or storage
Locate the black knob at the base of the steering column.
With one hand hold the tiller while unscrewing the clamp.
The tiller is now free to move. Move the tiller to the desired position and tighten the clamp. As you tighten the clamp gently rock the tiller back and forth. This allows the teeth on the clamp to engage correctly. Check the clamp daily to ensure it is tight.
