6.2.1 3-Point Harness
5. Buckle harness to the latch between child’s legs. Make sure that
you hear a “click.”
DO NOT use the infant restraint if	➊
the harness does not latch in place.
Call Graco at 1-800-345-4109.
6. From the back, pull strap through
harness tightener to tighten the straps
as shown ➊. CHECK that both straps
are flat and tight on child’s shoulders.
7. Snap harness clip pieces together ➋.	➋
Position harness clip in middle of chest,
level with armpits and away from the
neck ➌.
8. SAFETY CHECK:
a) CHECK that harness straps are not
twisted.
b) CHECK that the harness is snug. A	➌
snug strap should not allow any slack. It
lies in a relatively straight line without
sagging. It does not press on the child’s
flesh or push the child’s body into an
unnatural position ➌.
