GETTING FAMILIAR WITH THE LCD
GXP21xx has a dynamic and customizable screen. The screen displays diff erently depending on whether the
phone is idle or in use (active screen).

Key Button Definitions
LINE SELECTORS
Selects the phone line printed on its right-hand side.
DATE AND TIME
Displays the current date and time. Can be synchronized with Internet time
servers.
LOGO
Displays company logo name. This logo name can be customized via xml screen
customization.
NETWORK STATUS
Displays the status of the phone and network. It will indicate whether the network
is down, starting or running (IP address). “## MISSED CALLS” is shown here too.
STATUS BAR
Shows the status of the phone, using icons as shown in the next table.
LINE STATUS INDICATOR
Displays the nam e of the account th at is in use. Select another account b y
pressing the LI NE key on the left si d e.
SOFTKEYS
The softkeys are context sensitive and will change depending on the status of the
phone. Typic al f unctions assig n ed to softkeys are:
• FORWARD ALL Unconditionally forwards the phone line to another
phone
• MISSED CALL This option shows up there were unanswered calls to
this phone. The Missed Calls option shows a list of the
missed calls
• NEXTSCR Press this but ton to toggle betw een idle screen, wea t her
and IP Address.
• REDIAL Redials the la s t number
• END CALL Hangs up phone
