General Maintenance
Before each use, perform the following general maintenance tasks:
1.Check the engine oil and fuel level
2.Check the engine for cracked fuel lines, loose bolts, and any other excessively worn or damaged parts. Repair or replace worn or damaged parts as necessary. Tighten any loose bolts.
3.Check the high pressure hose for leaks. Replace if necessary.
4.Inspect the spray gun and nozzles for clogged debris and/or damage. Clean any debris with a garden hose and replace any damaged parts.
5.Inspect the chemical injection hose and filter for clogged debris and/or damage. Clean any debris with a garden hose and replace any damaged parts.
Engine Oil Change
Replace the engine oil once after 20 hours, and then regularly every 100 hours or 3 months (more frequently in harsh conditions).
To change the engine oil:
1.FOLLOW SHUTDOWN PROCEDURE AND ALLOW ENGINE TO COOL!
2.Loosen the dipstick/oil cap.
3.Remove the drain plug on the side of the engine (Figure 17) and allow oil to drain through the hole in the frame into a catch basin.

4.Allow the oil to drain for several minutes until all the oil has drained from the crankcase.
5.Fasten the drain plug securely.
6.Remove the dipstick/oil cap and fill with SAE 30 motor oil checking the level on the dipstick frequently until full (Figure 18). Do not over- fill.

7.Tighten the dipstick/oil cap.
8.Dispose of the used oil in accordance with local regulations.
