Dieser Player erscheint am PC in zwei verschiedenen Konfigurationen: MTP (Media Transfer Protocol)-Player oder MSC (Mass Storage Class)-Player (Wechseldatenträger). Die jeweilige Konfiguration hängt von der Version des Windows Media Players und dem Betriebssystem des PC ab.

Mit »sII« schalten Sie den Player zwischen MTP- und MSC-Modus um.

Synchronisieren Sie Musikdateien über den Windows Media Player auf den Player. Diese werden in den Ordner »MTPMEDIA/Musik« kopiert und sind im MSC-Modus nicht sichtbar.

Kopieren Sie Musikdateien direkt in den Hauptordner oder synchronisieren Sie Musik über den Windows Media Player in einen angelegten Ordner »Musik«.

Daten (z.B. pdf-, ppt-, doc-Dateien) sollten direkt in den Hauptordner oder in einen eigens angelegten Ordner kopiert werden.

Im MSC-Modus kopierte oder synchronisierte Musikdateien werden im MTP- Modus nicht im Windows Media Player angezeigt.
