11Use »Λ« or »V« to enter the primary and then the secondary DNS, and press »OK« to confirm.

– You are prompted to enter the SSID.

Note:

The SSID (Service Set Identiﬁer) is the code of the WLAN network, and is used to identify this wireless network.

12Enter the SSID.

Notes:

Use buttons »Λ«, »V«, »V «, »Λ « and »OK« to enter the SSID. You can choose between numbers, lower and upper case letters, and special characters.

Press »Λ « or »V « to select the required character.

Press »Λ« or »V« to scroll through the menu pages (numbers, letters, special characters, etc.). When the selected character ﬂashes, press »OK« to assign it to the SSID.

If you make a mistake during entry, select the »Λ « character and press »OK« to conﬁrm. The last character is deleted.

To leave the menu without completing your entry, select the »C« character and press »OK« to conﬁrm.

Once you have entered the complete SSID, select the »⁄ « character and press »OK« to conﬁrm. If you entered an incorrect SSID, you will be requested to enter the web key again.

»Please wait Processing« now appears in the display. The connection to the WLAN router and the internet is being built up. If the device cannot connect to the router, »Connection failed« appears in the display. If the connection was successful, »Connected« appears in the display.

You can now select diﬀerent encryption types:

»WEP« (»WEP« oﬀers a choice between »Open« and »PSK«).

»WPA« (»WPA« oﬀers a choice between »TKIP« and »AES«). »WPA2«: the highest security level (»WPA2« also oﬀers options »TKIP« »AES«).

Note:

The encryption settings of the device must match those of the router.
