1.NO corte ni retire la clavija de conexión a tierra en el cable de suministro eléctrico conectado. Hacerlo puede provocar chispas o un incendio, y anular todas las garantías. Para fines

de seguridad, el aire acondicionado debe conectarse a tierra de manera adecuada.

2.Para evitar el riesgo de incendio o una posible descarga eléctrica, NO use un adaptador de enchufe, cable de extensión, protector contra sobretensiones o adaptador de tomacorriente múltiple con el aire acondicionado.

3.El cable de suministro eléctrico está equipado con un enchufe de 3 clavijas que se acopla al tomacorriente estándar de pared de 115 voltios para reducir al mínimo la posibilidad de recibir una descarga eléctrica de este aire acondicionado.

4.El cable de suministro eléctrico incluye un dispositivo interruptor de detección de fugas

de corriente (LCDI). El enchufe tiene un botón RESET (restablecer) y un botón TEST (probar). Pruebe el dispositivo de manera periódica presionando el botón TEST y después el botón RESET mientras está conectado en el tomacorriente de la pared. Si el botón TEST no se dispara o el botón RESET no permanece acoplado, no use el aire acondicionado y comuníquese con un técnico de servicio calificado.

5.Un electricista calificado debe inspeccionar el circuito y el tomacorriente de la pared para asegurarse de que el tomacorriente de la pared esté conectado a tierra de manera adecuada.

6.Si el tomacorriente de la pared es de 2 clavijas y no de 3, es responsabilidad del usuario hacer que lo reemplacen con un tomacorriente de 3 clavijas conectado a tierra de manera correcta.

7.El aire acondicionado siempre debe conectarse a un tomacorriente eléctrico dedicado que tenga una tensión nominal que coincida con la etiqueta del número de serie en la parte lateral del aire acondicionado.

8.Los valores nominales eléctricos del aire acondicionado se incluyen en la etiqueta del modelo/ número de serie, que se encuentra en la parte lateral del gabinete del aire acondicionado.

9.La siguiente tabla muestra los requerimientos eléctricos específicos. Debe cumplir con los requerimientos para el tipo de enchufe que tiene el cable de suministro eléctrico.
