Unplug grill from outlet and allow to cool.
Wipe cooking plates with a paper towel to remove drippings. Remove drip tray; wash in dishwasher or hot, soapy water.
Do not use steel wool, scouring pads, or abrasive cleansers on any part of the unit. Never use sharp or pointed objects for cleaning.

To remove plates for cleaning, press plate release button and lift out plates. Remove top plate first and then bottom plate.

Insert tabs of bottom plate into base and press down to lock into place. Then, insert tabs of top plate into cover and press to lock into place.
