with a clean, damp cloth and dry with
a towel.
3.
Remove the brew basket and wash in warm, soapy water. Do
NOT use harsh or abrasive cleaners. Rinse thoroughly.
4.
Make sure the warmer switches are in the OFF position.
5.
Plug the cord into a properly grounded outlet.
6.
Place an empty decanter on the warmer below the brew
basket.
7.
Lift the reservoir cover and pour one decanter of cold tap
water through the pour-in screen into the reservoir.
Never pour hot water into the reservoir.
8.
Set the lower warmer/brew switch to the ON position to start
the brew cycle. The initial cycle will be several ounces short
because a small amount of water is retained in the system.
It is recommended that you repeat steps 6–8 two or three times
to thoroughly flush out the internal parts of the brewer before
making coffee.
The coffee
brewer
is now ready to use and will yield full pots on
subsequent cycles.
